Brenda Epperson Doumani (born September 9, 1965, Hollywood, California) is an American actress and singer.
Epperson is perhaps best known for being the second actress to portray the character of Ashley Abbott on the CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless. Her father, Don Epperson, was both a country singer and a co-star of Big Jake with John Wayne. After his sudden death in 1973, Brenda's mother, Sherry, was left to raise two daughters.
She has toured Europe as the opening act for Lionel Richie. Epperson started a children's choir for H.U.P. (Hollywood Urban Project, a church based organization) an inner city choir that reaches out to the children through music and shows them the "strength and power of God's love" and the children's own self worth.
She attended Southern California College where she sang and studied with an emphasis on getting to Hollywood. Brenda Epperson went to Dallas High School, in Dallas, Oregon.
